Experience - Powertronic, Inc. founder, David Emery has established eleven years in business and six years as a technical service representative for Square D Company serving customers based in the greater New York area and providing service across the United States, Canada and Mexico. Success in field service working for a major electrical manufacturer is not by accident; it takes extensive training, job site exposure to people, products and applications and an internal drive to service the customer. He also served seven years in the Corps of Engineers for the US Army as a Prime Power Production Specialist serving the electrical service needs of Department of Defense installations across the globe.

Training - Training at Square D Company manufacturing facilities on product including High Voltage Switches, Transformers, Medium Voltage Controllers, Medium and Low Voltage Circuit Breakers, Variable Speed Drives and Programmable Logic Controllers. Military training includes the comprehensive one year 52E course, Prime Power Production Specialist. Numerous military courses in leadership, organization and electronics.

Certification - David Emery, CET 81414, our lead technician, is certified by the National Institute for Certification in Engineering Technologies (NICET) in Electrical Distribution System Testing. Continuously certified since 1992.  Also, in 1998 David became a Certified Power Quality Professional (CPQ) as recognized by the Association of Energy Engineers (AEE).
